Is your association or municipal library thinking about sustainable funding? Funding based on a public vote? UHLS thinks you should be!
Whether you’re planning a public vote tor the first time or are rolling up your sleeves to do it again, you are invited to join other UHLS library directors and trustees for an informal Zoom conversation hosted and facilitated by UHLS. This virtual session will be held on Thursday, March 27 starting at 6:30pm.
In this informal session, we’ll quickly cover the basics of the 259 (school district) public vote and the 414 (municipal) public vote and then facilitate a conversation about topics like coordinating with your school district or municipality, crafting effective communication strategies, determining your funding ‘ask’, timing considerations, and anything else you want to talk about.
