Saratoga Battlefield Tour
August 11 @ 10:00 am - 1:30 pm
| FreeJoin us for a guided tour of the Saratoga Battlefield. Often called the turning point of the Revolution, the Battle of Saratoga saw American forces decisively defeat British General John Burgoyne’s army, halting Britain’s plan to divide the colonies along the Hudson River and forcing the surrender of nearly 6,000 British and German troops.
We’ll meet at the Visitor Center at 10:00 to watch a short film about the battlefield, then caravan along the ten-mile tour road, stopping at multiple sites to learn what happened at each one. We’ll spend about 30 minutes in the Visitor Center and about two hours on the battlefield tour. This tour is geared toward adults, but children with suitable attention spans are welcome to attend.
There is no cost to attend, but space is limited. Please sign up for one ticket for each member of your party.
