Summer Reading Program (SRP) is an essential initiative in libraries. UHLS supports our libraries in delivering a robust SRP for all ages, with particular focus on youth.
- Benefits of SRP and research for talking points, news releases, and reports
- NYS SRP page – potential partners, resources, and more
- Collaborative Summer Library Program – manual, graphics (within manual), future themes, and more. Contact Mary Fellows for this year’s NYS code (sent out multiple times on youthserv also).
- READsquared – an online registration tool provided by NYS Library. Contact Mary Fellows at UHLS for setup and customizing help.
- Reading lists
- Training Recordings and Resources
- Successful SRP school visits
- Most currently available statistical evaluation libraries are required to submit – may be from previous year. If so, use as a example only.
- UHLS-purchased SRP materials – We request your order of bookmarks, posters, reading records and reading certificates from the CSLP catalog in the fall through email on youthserv. Items are received in March or April.
