Ebooks and digital audiobooks for youth offer 24/7 portable entertainment and learning. For older youth, ematerials also provide privacy for exploring sensitive topics.
Libraries should be ordering youth content as well as adult content, and youth services staff are the best selectors. Please ensure that this is happening in your library.

Sora is an OverDrive app used by students to access their school’s digital materials. Through partnership with the School Library Systems in our area, UHLS allows schools to enable student access to age-limited UHLS collections through their Sora accounts.
Books Unbanned: Brooklyn Public Library offers anyone ages 13-21 to apply for a free BPL eCard, providing access to its full eBook/audiobook collection and learning databases.
