As more research supports the link between nature and mental and physical health, libraries can help youth and families cultivate a relationship with the natural world. Fostering an interest in nature through collections and programming expands your audience, maximizes your community impact, and supports sustainability. In this participatory training, you’ll explore strategic partnerships and program design for ideas to engage youth in your library with do-it-yourself nature programming.
