Library Expedition

Who: You! Anyone who did any part of the Expedition, or simply loves public libraries.

What: A gathering of fellow library lovers to celebrate libraries! We’ll also have a mini-Expedition for everyone, a few activities for kids and families, and possibly, just possibly, some bears in a van . . .

When: Tuesday, September 10, 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Drop in anytime!

Where: The Crossings Park in Colonie. Enter from Albany Shaker Road, and follow signs to the very back of the park.

What if it rains? Not a disaster! We’ll be in the buildings near the front park instead.

Food: We’ll provide cider and doughnuts; bring a picnic supper if you like.

What to bring: You are the only thing we really need to make it a good party! But if you want to bring your family or friends, a picnic, and/or lawn chairs or a blanket to be comfortable while you eat and visit, feel free.

Do I have to register? It helps us to plan for parking and know how many doughnuts to get if you do register. But if you forget, come anyway!

Still have questions? Contact Mary Fellows at or 518-437-9880 ext. 228.
