I Love My Library Dinner
A BIG thanks to all those who donated, supported and attended our most successful "I Love My Library Dinner" yet!  With your help, we raised over $6,000!  All the proceeds from the dinner will go back into the Watervliet Community through quality library programs and services.  We also raised $400 that will go directly to help fund our Summer Reading Program.  Thanks for supporting your community library!

card making class

Card-making class.  Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at 6:30 in the Library.  Library staff member Sue Black will be offering a free card-making class.  She will be doing 2 projects using scrapbook papers and stamps.  One is a card, the other is a bookmark holder.  Please call the Library to sign up for this class.

VIDEO CLUB
videographer

Are you interested in knowing more about videography?  The Watervliet Housing Authority, under the supervision of Charles Patricelli, would like to host a video club at the Watervliet Housing Authority and the Watervliet Civic Center.  Both are teaming up to teach a course and produce some Watervliet videos.  This opportunity will allow children to learn about all the various components that local and national TV stations use.  It will introduce them to technology that is not seen anyplace else.  If you would like to learn how to take video correctly, edit, prepare shows, etc., please indicate interest by signing up in the Library or by calling one of the numbers below.  Details will be sent to you.

Watervliet Library:  274-4471
