Money For School

Association for Library Service to Children (ALSC) scholarships: For those who want to pursue a Master’s and plan to work in children’s librarianship.
EBSCO/NMRT Scholarship: $1,000.00 for an applicant planning to enroll (either for the first time or as a continuing student) in a graduate studies program of library education leading to a master's degree.
Lake Placid Educational Foundation/New York Library Association Scholarship: Up to $12,000 for a student pursuing a MLS in New York state.
Ann Gibson Scholarship: Awarded by the Youth Services Section of the New York State Library Association. Eligible are MLS students directing their studies to youth services librarianship who have completed at least 18 hours of coursework.
