Grants

ALSC/Book Wholesalers: A grant of $3000 for a theme-based summer reading program.
ALSC/Econo-Clad Award: $1000 grant to support winner attendance at the ALA Annual Conference. Given to an ALSC member who has developed and implemented a unique and outstanding reading or literature program for children.
Libri Foundation: Offers new, hardcover, quality children’s books to eligible libraries in small, rural areas. Many Upper Hudson libraries have been recipients.
Penguin Putnam Books for Young Readers Award: $600 allows four ALSC members who work directly with children in elementary, middle schools or public libraries to attend the ALA Annual Conference.
Youth Services Section (YSS) of the New York State Library Association (NYLA): Provides $250 for YSS/NYLA members to attend YSS Spring Conference.
