Large print books are printed in 17point type for readers who can no longer see traditional 8-10 point print clearly.

Upper Hudson Library System Outreach Department has a wide selection of popular titles in Large Print format, including westerns, romances, mysteries, adventure stories, self-help health guides, cookbooks, travelogs, and biographies.

This collection is circulated to nursing homes, retirement complexes and member libraries. Specific titles may be searched on the UHLS Online Catalog (link to catalog) and requested through Interlibrary Loan.
