Belly laughs, fractured fairy tales (ever hear of The Three Pears? Or Beeping Sleauty?) and stories of the most shivery sort were all part of our
seven-day, 23-event 2007 Riverway Storytelling Festival. More than 1300 people attended the events, spread among eleven communities and as many public libraries. Workshops, story swaps, and performances attracted people from across several states and many age groups. It was great fun! Here's what audience members were saying:
This was awesome! Very exciting and involving the kids was fun! We (my daughters and I) loved it. THANK YOU!
- a Valley Falls listener
Wow! These tellers grabbed us by our imaginations and flew us/took us around the world!
- A Voorheesville listener
The storytellers were wonderful! We love this festival! Thank you for sponsoring it; it is such a delight!
- Rosemary & Chloe Lamb and Jack O'Connor
