WHAT'S NEW?
The 2007 Riverway Storytelling Festival happens April 23-29, 2007. Watch for more details, or join our mailing list for all the information.
Our 2006 Festival had 26 events throughout seven days
around the Capital Region! The Festival attracted over 1200 people. Here’s
what listeners are saying:
“My first experience with the Riverway Storytelling Festival was on
Thursday evening, when I attended a family concert. I was
so excited about the quality of the telling that I just had to attend as
many other concerts as I could fit into my schedule. The talent of the
tellers was outstanding . . . I am a person who is not given to using
superlatives very often, but this festival is certainly deserving of great
praise. . . It was TERRIFIC!!! I am already eagerly anticipating next year's
event.”
-Chris Nash
“My 9-year-old daughter and 6-year-old son loved every
story and were completely "wowed" by the event. Each story was
first-rate and the tellers were highly polished . . . My
children begged me to bring them back for Saturday night's show, and now
they are insisting on Sunday's final performance as well. They just can't
get enough! What's more, they repeated almost every story for their father
when they got home. . . This will be a "must do" event on our calendar every
year. We all thoroughly enjoyed it, including my mother-in-law who was
inspired to stay into the night for the grown-up telling.”
