Scope
The Menands Public Library was chartered in 1923 and is
currently located in a converted church. The local history collection consists of
approximately 1 cu.ft. of materials on the history of Menands, the records of the Menands
Book Club and the archives of the library. In addition to the local history materials, the
library has a few items, as well as old photographs, which might be of interest to anyone
in search of genealogical records.
