The Berlin Free Librarys local history collection
contains monographs on the history of Berlin, Rensselaer County and the Taconic Valley. It
also contains genealogical materials including a run of the New England Genealogical and
Historic Register from 1892 to 1933. Manuscript collections include cards with information
from local cemeteries, newspaper clippings, photographs and a vertical file collection.
The Berlin Historical Society houses its collection at the library and those collections
