Website hosting
The Automation Services Department provides the following services
related to website hosting:
- Provide disk space on our server for any of our
libraries' websites.
- Help libraries to register their own domain names,
and pay for that registration if the libraries asks.
- Install WordPress and download themes
whenever the libraries ask. Also, we train in the use of WordPress
and strongly encourage our libraries to use it as a content management
system (CMS) for their websites.
- Support any other tools (e.g. DreamWeaver)
that the libraries use.
- We support MySQL and PHP.
