Advisory Council
UHLS Representative: Rawdon
Cheng Member participation: All interested
member library staff, trustees, friends, and volunteers, especially
those responsible for systems, automation, and website maintenance. Charge: To assist UHLS staff in
researching various telecom, email, and website capabilities in the
marketplace; to assist member libraries in providing their patrons with
multiple methods of information access; to facilitate the discussion
and resolution of technology issues among UHLS member libraries; to
make suggestions regarding compatible software and hardware purchases;
to study and recommend website techniques, software, and methodology;
and to aid UHLS in meeting Goal B and all of its Objectives as stipulated
in the Plan of Service.
