Advocacy Advisory Council
UHLS Representative: Philip
Ritter Member participation: All interested member library staff, trustees, friends, and volunteers. Charge: To define public awareness
and legislative action goals for the region; to keep the region informed
about library legislation; to keep local legislators aware of libraries
and their programs. to organize regional activities which will encourage
New York State Assembly and Senate support for library legislation;
to aid UHLS in meeting Goal C Objective #3 as stipulated in the Plan
of Service.
