The first school house at Clinton Heights was built for District #3, located on the Boston and Albany Turnpike between 1853 and 1856.

A new two story, four room scholl building was built in Clinton Heights in 1914, just south of the first one room school. Today this building houses the East Greenbush Town Hall.

The original wooden one room school house burned in 1955. The W. F. Bruen Hose Company was built on the school site and remains there today.
