W. R. DeFreest Hotel

Built in 1802, the hotel of William R. DeFreest was the the site of the first annual town meeting on April 3, 1865. The hotel later became the East Greenbush Pharmacy and is now the site of Sarah's Studio, Heirloom Photography.

The sheds for horses and buggies adjacent to the hotel became Jackson's Filling Station and today is the home of the Country Trunk: Gifts for Heart & Home, where you can find candles, cards & jewelry and relax in the cafe.
