Cantonment Greenbush

Cantonment Greenbush was the headquarters of the Northern Division of the U.S. Army of 1812. The eight barracks accommodated 4,000 soldiers. The officer barracks still stands today as the home of Ken and Carol Orvis. The Red Mill Elementary School was built on the former parade grounds.
