How Summer Reading Club Works!

-    Come to the library to register. Registration begins Monday, June 23 and continues

until July 3 in the Storytime Room. However, you may register anytime during the SRC program.

-     Decorate a butterfly or spider and write your name on it.  We will display them in the

       library.

-     Read books you enjoy.

-     Record the books you read in your Reading Record.

-     Come and enjoy the many special programs that will be offered all summer long.

-     Guess how many erasers are in the jar & win prizes! (Prizes will be awarded on

      August 21).

-     Turn in your Reading Record to the library by Friday, August 15 and join us for a

movie, The Waterhorse at 2:00 p.m.

On Thursday, August 21, reading records, certificates and prizes may be picked up anytime between 11 am and 6 pm in the Normanskill Room. Participants who return their Reading Records on time will be rewarded for their hard work with goodies donated by local merchants.  You will also receive 2 “gold” coins to use to purchase 2 free books at the Children’s Book Sale, being held that same day.  Also in the Helderberg Room, we will be showing our Just for the Record slide show of all the fun things we did during our summer events!
