Friends of the Castleton Public Library

Are you a friend of the Library?

If you care about the Castleton Public Library, then you are already a friend of the Library. Now it's time to become a "Friend of the Library."

The Board of Trustees and the staff of the Library work hard to provide library services to the community. We want to do more. But we can't do it alone. We need your help. If you would like to help us achieve our goals, become a "Friend of the Library."

Here are a few of the things Friends do for the Library.

  • Pick up and deliver books to home-bound community residents
  • Organize fund-raising events
  • Help prepare for Library events
  • Serve refreshments
  • Shelve books

If everyone helps a little, we can accomplish all of our goals. And remember, you'll have fun, meet new people, see old friends, and be helping your community all at the same time.

If you would like to become a "Friend" of the Library, please complete and return the application for joining the "Friends of the Library." See the Library Calendar for the next meeting of the Friends of the Library.

For more information, contact Carol Dratch-Kover (732-7875). We look forward to working with you.
